Home Depot Drywall Prices
By ProMatcher Staff
How much does drywall cost at Home Depot?
We found that the selection and prices vary from location to location. The standard size drywall sheet is 4 x 8 feet and about ½ inch thick. Other common thickness are 3/8 inch and 5/8 inch. For basic panels, you should expect to pay about $10-14 per sheet.
There are several factors that will increase the cost. Over-sized panels and thicker panels will be more expensive. Additionally, sheets with mold, moisture, and fire resistance will almost always come at an additional cost. It's not unheard of to pay $20-35 per panel for these more expensive options.
Keep in mind, there are additional materials that you may need for your drywall project, including tape, joint compound, studs, insulation, and taping and joint knives.
